Death Doula | Befriending Death
A death doula, also known as an end-of-life doula, offers compassionate emotional and spiritual support to individuals nearing the end of their lives and to their loved ones. Ingrid helps ease fear around death, foster acceptance, hold space for grief, and help create sacred and meaningful transition. This work flows naturally from yogic principles of presence, kindness, honesty, and non-attachment: being fully present without judgment and honouring your journey.
This may include offering active listening, facilitating conversations about legacy and remembrance, guiding meditative or spiritual practices, offering respite for loved ones, host grief circles, helping grow plants that symbolise loved ones, holding sacred vigil during the final stages of life, and creating rituals to honour your loved one’s life.

We honour the principle of dāna for some of our services, an ancient practice rooted in Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain traditions meaning “generosity” or “the act of giving." Traditionally, it is a way to offer support given freely from the heart without expectation of return. This practice recognises that giving and receiving are interconnected, they are both an offering and a privilege.
In the modern world, dāna continues as a way to cultivate generosity and ensure accessibility while honouring fair exchange. Our offerings are priced to reflect the time, energy, skill, and care we devote to this work, yet we also believe support should not be limited by financial means.
If cost is a concern for any of our services (not products), please reach out by clicking the button below as we are happy to explore options that are fair and sustainable for both of us. If you feel so called, in selected group offerings you might notice a sliding scale incorporating dāna.
